Operator Licence Awareness (OLAC) and Transport Manager Refresher Course

Operator Licence Awareness (OLAC) and Transport Manager Refresher Course

An operator’s licence is granted on the understanding that the operator will adhere to the undertakings outlined in the application they sent to the Office of the Traffic Commissioner. It is a criminal offence for an operator to fail to comply with these undertakings, and should this occur, the operator may be called to a Public Inquiry. Here, the Traffic Commissioner has the power to curtail, suspend or revoke an operator’s licence. It is thus imperative that the rules and regulations regarding the operation of large goods vehicles are followed at all times.

Our operator’s licence awareness course is suitable for operators who have been instructed by the Traffic Commissioner to attend an operator’s awareness management or compliance course. This course is also recommended for new operators or those who needing to refresh their knowledge.

Qualified Transport Managers are required to attend refresher training every 5 years to ensure they remain up to date with their legal duties and responsibilities.Operator Licence Awareness Transport Manager Refresher south west exeter
